Dedicated aircraft engineering technician currently serving in the Royal Navy I have worked on all types of systems and vehicles from the AW158 Wildcat and Merlin HM Mk2 Helicopters to Forklifts and Aircraft Support Equipment. Proficient in working with various systems such as Hydraulic, Fuel, Pneumatic, Mechanical and Electrical. Further experience outside of my core role includes a strong background of servicing, maintaining and operating a fleet of MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) including Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, EPTs and Tractors, I have had exposure to sheet metal work, composite materials, NDT, oil sampling and battery servicing.
Furthermore I have worked in the CBRNDC (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Damage Control) department for 7 months servicing and maintaining life saving safety equipment across an aircraft carrier including high pressure salt water systems, fire extinguishers, hydrants, and a large assortment of fire fighting equipment, also delivering competency training to officers on the usage of the Integrated Platform Management System used to monitor all systems and incidents across the ship. I have worked all around the UK and Overseas. I have submitted my notice to leave the service and will be released in June 2025.
I have 5 years of Aeronautical engineering experience with an additional 2 years experience working maintenance on material handling equipment and aircraft support equipment. Dual traded (electrical and mechanical)
