• Food preparation support: Assisted in cooking menu items, safe handling and delivery to front-of-house teams.
• Hygiene maintenance: Cleaned and sanitised fryers, grills and utensils to meet strict food-safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Keeping records of ingredients and inventory: Checked amounts of ingredients, updated inventory logs to add resources and prevent shortages during busy hours.
• Equipment setup and shutdown: Set up cooking stations at the start of shifts and completed full shutdown procedures, ensuring equipment was safe, clean and ready for next time.
