Stephen’s research interests focus on multilateral forms of crisis management in an era of complex crises drawing from interdisciplinary interests in order to contribute to academic and policy discussions on global governance in an increasingly divided international system. Originating from Belfast, Northern Ireland Stephen is currently approaching the submission of his doctoral research with Queen’s University Belfast which focuses on collaborative crisis management efforts in the Sahel region of Africa to which he brings several years of professional experience working with civil society organisations operating within the context of the UN system
