About

I have been an experienced Police Officer and Probation Officer with a strong background in risk assessment, conflict resolution and evidence gathering. I have successfully managed emergency response operations and community safety initiatives, including deployments across the UK and Northern Ireland. As a former Probation Officer I have been skilled in offender supervision and multi-agency collaboration including placements as a Deputy Hostel Manager in both London and Worcestershire as well as inside a maximum security prison.

I have been committed to public safety through on-going training and professional development.

I am currently a supervisor for a Desktop Investigation Team with supervisory responsibility for a team of officers. The role involves the assessment of crime reports, reviewing and developing investigation plans before finalising handover case files for onward progression to a separate department. I have spent approximately 18 years on frontline policing in various locations including rural areas and city centres.

I have also supported community safety initiatives within a Safer Community Team and been part of a firearms licensing team. I have participated in mutual aid deployments across the UK and Northern Ireland as part of Police Support Unit serials. I have patrolled assigned areas, reduced public disturbance and responded to emergency calls for service to provide timely assistance.

I have conducted preliminary enquiries, contemporaneous interviews as well as conducting follow up enquiries for use in PACE interviews in custody and for case file preparation for use in Court proceedings.

As a Probation Officer I have supported adult and juvenile offenders released from Prison as part of their throughcare management whilst on Licence. I have also supervised offenders on Community Orders including those with residence conditions in Probation and Bail Hostels as a manager for establishments in London and Worcester. I have prepared detailed reports in writing and in person for the Courts including Family Courts for child custody hearings, the Parole Board and both Magistrates and Crown Courts including The Central Criminal Court.
