I specialise in backend development with close to 10 years of experience building high-traffic scalable solutions and modernising legacy systems. I am greatly experienced in PHP 8, Laravel, Typescript, and AWS and pride myself on strong communication and building a team rapport.

• Drove the migration of a traffic-heavy Laravel application to AWS using Terraspace (Terraform), ensured queries were MySQL 8.1 compatible, and locally stored user data was synchronised to S3 with minimal downtime
• Implemented GitHub Actions pipelines to automate ECR image builds, ECS deployments and deploy Lambda functions in multiple environments
• Migrated geo-location searches from MySQL to Elasticsearch resulting in a substantial boost in application performance for large-radius searches
