I have recently completed my Highfield Close Protection course and am keen to begin my career in the CP world. 

Over the last 3 years I have been working in television and film security. Over this period I have worked in the studio and location. I have worked on small productions and some of the big budget flagship productions. Most notably I was the lead supervisor on the second season of the Amazon Lord of the Rings series.

In addition the last 2 years I have been the lead security officer on several productions. This has meant I have been responsible for leading the entire security detail. I have had many instances where I have had to demonstrate effective communication and manage physical confrontations whilst being customer focused.

I have been responsible for production property and have protected the assets from loss, theft, damage and waste. I have secured areas so as to protect the film unit integrity and written reports where incidents have occurred. A key skill I possess is my attention to detail.

In my most recent role I liaised with crown estate wardens to ensure filming was not compromised and assisted in Royal and VIP visits when they took place.

I was also responsible for the maintenance of paperwork that included daily occurrence books and attended management meetings to minimise site disruptions with regards to parking and deliveries. I also worked with other heads of departments to ensure cast and crew were allowed to operate in the best environments possible, separating them from the public and potential anti-social behaviour.

I also held responsibility with regards to health and safety on production sites so understand and would comply with procedures and instructions. I also made sure that this was carried out across all visitors on sites I was responsible for.

On a personal note I hold a FREC 3 qualification. I drive a Toyota Hilux Pickup. My time keeping is excellent and I have extensive experience working with High Net Worth individuals most notably in the celebrity sector. I also have experience in health and safety and basic police/emergency service procedures. 

I understand I do have a lack of experience in CP but I am happy to upskill and commit to further training where ever it is required.

The Movie Lot, United Kingdom - Security Lead August 2021 – present

• Book and place the security personnel in positions, provide them with all the relevant production and location information.
• Run location security for the production on a day-to-day basis, providing specific instructions for each position and areas that need to be secured.
• Protect the productions IP ensuring the privacy of structures or filming are not compromised to the media and other sources.
• Organize the rota and discuss (manage) any security issues with the location department or production.
• Monitor discipline and appearance to maintain high standards and professional environment.
• Regularly provide feedback to senior management to assist with production site appraisals.
• Conduct procedural briefings, disseminate intelligence, brief security personnel of their responsibilities and ensure they have necessary equipment to carry out the work.
• Provide a documented plan and instructions for operatives.
• Act as the first contact and manage all escalated operational security, health & safety matters across the production location.
• Ensure that staff work in safe conditions and carry out their duties in accordance with approved policies & procedures.
• Investigate incidents and prepare the reports.
• Provide conflict resolution as required.
• Communicate and if necessary, collate hours, meal allowances,

travel congestion charges to securiy.
