During this challenging Covid-19 period, I have been striving to gain suitable employment, whilst at the same time being the sole carer for my father who suffered a major stroke. I took care of all house-hold tasks including cleaning, cooking, shopping and escorting my dad to all his appointments. My dad has sufficiently recovered enough, that I am now able and eager to re-commence employment.

This was a voluntary position where my key role was to prepare bought items of furniture and other stock for delivery to customers' homes, restocking the store with replacement furniture to sell from the warehouse, and working closely with other staff and volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the shop and showroom.
