Electrical Project Engineer - ECS Engineering

Electrical project engineer, designing and managing complex electrical projects nationwide, primarily for the Environment Agency. Work has included feasibility studies, outline design, cost evaluation, materials specifications and ordering, RAMS and managing sub-contractors. This includes, outline designs, project / plant specifications, tender evaluations, client meetings, progress meetings, protection studies, on site day to day management of the electrical contractors and providing regular feedback to the project teams.
These projects all carried out under NEC contracts.

This work was predominantly new 11kV substations, LV switchgear panels, and associated HV/LV cabling.

Joined Capita on an 18 month joint venture contract between Capita and UKPN, however due to unforeseen circumstances, the framework between Capita and UKPN ended up being delayed. In short space of time there, involved with the design of 11kV and 33kV connections to the DNO networks within the London area.
