Although I have frontline experience during my time with South Central Ambulance, I did not have any experience in presenting. So in order to gain this experience I took a position with First Aid First Response as a Trainer delivering Emergency First Aid, First Aid @ Work, suicide and ligature awareness, safeguarding Level 3, Catastrophic bleeding, & seizure management to professionals, in care homes, residential homes for special needs children, rehabilitation homes and specialist units for children in crisis. Together with my experience at SCAS was transformative; I gained valuable knowledge that extended beyond medical skills, focusing on both patient care and effective interpersonal interactions.

This has further strengthened my desire to expand my expertise in coaching and training related to first aid and basic care. My decision to leave South Central Ambulance stemmed solely from the demands of shift work and certain experiences that adversely affected my health and wellbeing. My enthusiasm for the Emergency Services remains strong, and I welcome any opportunity to contribute to high-quality First Aid training and promote awareness of essential First Aid and CPR skills.

After leaving South Central Ambulance Services (SCAS) Emergency Response, I have taken on various short-term contracts and agency roles as both an HGV driver and a van driver. I also cared for my wife following a major operation just after Christmas 2025.
