Summer Rowswell

My name is Summer Rowswell, I am 24 years old and I am based in Sevenoaks, Kent. After completing five years at GKR Scaffolding as a Marketing Assistant, I went travelling for 6 months around Australia and South-East Asia. I am now looking for new opportunities within the marketing industry to further develop as a marketer and refine my skills and knowledge.

Over the past five years as a Marketing Assistant at GKR Scaffolding I was responsible for managing the company’s social media platforms, running targeted marketing campaigns, conducting social media analysis, and creating compelling content. During my tenure, I also completed a Business Management degree, further enhancing my business and marketing knowledge and skills. My ability to adapt and thrive within my role and carrying out a degree has equipped me with the expertise to contribute effectively to marketing initiatives and organisational goals.

I was responsible for creating the social media strategy, managing all social media platforms, running campaigns, social media analysis as well as content creation. I was able to change the way in which we market our company on social media by responding to trends, regular posting and engagement which helped to grow our accounts, bring in new recruits and market the company nationally.

I have a First Class Honors Degree in Chartered Business Management which I obtained during my apprenticeship. I also have A-Levels in Business, Photography and Film Studies. I have 10.5 GCSES.
