Susana Mercado

I am a psychology student, and I have had the opportunity to work with various foundations and organizations for more than five years. This has allowed me to develop strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience working in customer service, which has strengthened my problem-solving, multitasking, and adaptability.

Barista and cashier at Strudwicks (2026 – Present)

Volunteered part-time at Sturdwicks Coffee in Milton Keynes, contributing to the smooth running of the café. Duties included managing tills, preparing a range of beverages, serving food, and ensuring a high standard of customer service for all visitors. Gained valuable experience in barista techniques, food handling, and customer interaction in a fast-paced environment.

Translator at Emanuel foundation (2025 – 2025)

I worked as a translator on a mission trip organized by the Emanuel foundation located in the US. During this time I translated from spanish to english and viseversa between the locals and the volunteers. I used my language and comunication skills to help the mission run smoothly.

Translator at Bridges of hope foundation (2024 – 2024)

I worked in a health brigade organized by the Bridges of hopes foundation. Here I translated for the medical staff broght by the foundation and work alongside them providing service in the optometry section of the brigade.

Volunteer at DREMO foundation (2020 – 2024)

I was a part of the DREMO foundation as a volunteer in their program BELIEVERS. I worked giving english classes to children from 6-17 years old who lived in marginalized areas. I also helped with the organization and as a part of the staff in various of the foundation´s events.
