Over 6 years of teaching experience as a Year 7 tutor and in Art, Design Technology and Textiles at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Has a keen interest in surface design, observational drawing and three-dimensional model making. Encouraging creativity and developing resilience in the classroom for all is always a priority when instructing collaborative projects or individual outcomes in and outside the classroom.

Completing DATA training in order to fully teach Design Technology projects for Key Stage 3 classes.
Led several GCSE classes to create personal portfolios, achieving high grades which allowed students to progress to their chosen sixth forms, including The BRIT School and Mayfield Girls Prep.
Worked to update and streamline the GCSE Art course to incorporate improvements suggested by the Exam Board and Head of department to increase efficiency and maximise time for student led projects.

Supporting a student with limited speech and Autism through his GCSE classes, helping him to achieving a passing grade in Photography.
Being trained to deliver the Bronze Arts Award to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students who gained their qualification after teaching and receiving supporting over the course of an academic year. Finally, organising the portfolios external marking.
To take leadership from a retiring teacher for 'Spiritus' – a carnival club whose work featured in several 'Burning of the Clocks' and Uckfield's Big Day out parades. Willow and tissue paper models made and carried included a Dali – inspired melting clock and a horse for Remembrance.

Self-employed artist - Chailey St. Peter's School

(2014-09 - 2014-11)

Commissioned to paint several murals at Chailey St. Peter's school.

Led sessions in key stage 2 classes where students were able to design elements of the mural to record and celebrate their local area through observation and self-expression.
Translated these smaller drawings into a massive painted mural. Other murals painted were inspired by Roald Dahl to promote reading and subjects taught in school.

Teaching Assistant - Chailey St. Peters

Based in Year 3 class running phonic support groups, enforce the behaviour expectations of the school and built relationships with students which acknowledged personal growth and achievement.
Assisted in the running of the Art Club with students to help create a textiles hanging and models depicting several figures for the 750th anniversary of the Battle of Lewes.
