I am a clinical research physician with experience working in Phase 2-4 clinical trials involving vaccines and treatments of respiratory viruses and neurodegenerative disease. I have been performing sub-investigator roles in supporting the principal investigator on multiple studies- including patient recruitment, data collection and analysis, and tracking of adverse events.
Before working as a research physician, I worked as an anaesthetist with a special interest in neuroanaesthesia.
Having graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2013, I completed my specialty training in anaesthesia in 2021. I relocated to the UK in Nov 2021 and completed my clinical fellowship in neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery (NHNN), UCLH.
Since November 2022, I have been working in clinical research. My role as study physician includes screening and recruiting participants into studies, performing clinical studies in accordance with GCP standards, and administrative duties such as record keeping and investigations into adverse effects.
I have good interpersonal skills and can operate as a member or leader of a multidisciplinary team. These abilities have been developed over years of experience working in complex, and my experience in different management committees and teaching faculties. As a study physician, I have also been working with clinical and non-clinical teams including project managers, data analysts and quality assurance team
I was an associate consultant in neuroanaesthesia before relocating to the UK. After completing the fellowship in neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurocritical Care, I've started working in clinical research as sub-investigator. I have experience in patient care and study management in Phase 2-4 studies.
