Ambitious post graduate seeking role in childcare
My name is Tabinda Mir and I am very excited to apply for the open teacher assistant position at your school. By reading your job specification, I believe, this makes me ideal candidate for this role. I have a previous proven track record of classroom teaching in a primary and secondary school. In my previous teaching roles I performed following duties:
Supervised large group of primary school students on a daily basis and fully conducting class.
Mentored and motivated students, working one-on-one with several to support them to improve their behaviour and raising their academic scores.
Prepared daily lesson plans, educational materials specific to the needs of individual class.
I am comfortable working independently and part of a team. I strongly prioritise critical thinking and creativity, skills that I encourage with my assignments and lesson plans and take pride in tailoring everything that I create to specific needs of each classroom. I am a proud mother of 3 kids which have made me a caring personality towards children and skills to understand their needs.
I have worked as home care assistant to provide personal care, domestic assistance, companionship and support for elderly, housebound and disabled people within their own homes. This role provided me an opportunity to work on my personal development area such as communicating to individuals with vulnerabilities, caring skills, working in flexible hours with good time management and finally ability to prioritise while showing responsibility towards my clients
