I am a naturally hard-working and conscientious person. I do my best in everything I do, and work well as part of a team and also independently from my own initiative. I am friendly, caring and reliable and can always be depended upon.
I enjoy reading and drawing in my spare time, as well as spending time with friends and family, arts and crafts and watching films. I have recently started a degree and am looking for part time work ideally. I have customer service experience from my previous part-time jobs and work experience as a volunteer, gained whilst I was working towards my A-levels, and more recently at an RSPCA shelter and with a local farm rescue shelter.
I have a passion for working with all kinds of animals and making their lives happier.
Volunteer at Willowdale Farm Rescue (2026-06 – Present)
I volunteer at Willowdale Farm Rescue and I do basically any task that's needed of me, be it taking the dogs for walks and giving them fuss and attention, to cleaning out kennels and clearing sheep poo from the yards. Not every job there is fun but everything is important and I enjoy doing it nonetheless because I know I am working to help the wonderful animals and a wonderful team of people. I have experience working with big dogs from this role, and many are shy or scared because of the previous situations they were removed from, which means I have to approach each dog calmly and gently especially when they are just getting to know me.
Volunteer at RSPCA (2026-05 – Present)
I volunteer with the RSPCA again and my role is to give attention and fuss to the cats and small animals in their care. I also have to monitor the animals for any changes in behaviour or other signs of illness or discomfort.
Volunteer - Cat Cuddler at West Norfolk RSPCA (2025-02 – 2025-04)
I volunteered with the West Norfolk RSPCA branch as a cat cuddler, where I got to spend time with the cats in their shelter, fussing them, playing with them, brushing them and whatever else they needed. It was a very rewarding role and benefitted both the cat's wellbeing as well as my own.
Volunteer Farm Hand at N/A (2024-02 – 2025-01)
I volunteered on a smallhold farm, helping to care for livestock such as chickens, goats and sheep, and this involved feeding and watering animals according to their specific dietary requirements as particularly the goats have individual feeding needs due to sensitivities. I also cleaned out the bedding in stalls and refill hay mangers. It was often physically demanding, but I always enjoyed it regardless and loved taking care of the animals.
Customer Advisor at Morrisons (2023-10 – 2024-01)
I worked within a team of kitchen and waiting staff in the Morrisons Café, I waitressed as well as handling orders on the till, guiding customers through self service, maintaining pot wash constantly, and helping keep the kitchen and the front of the Café generally clean and well maintained to provide the best customer experience possible. I also made sure to check in with customers and have the occasional chat while going about my out front tasks like clearing and wiping tables or refilling sauces or the coffee machines.
Customer Advisor at Boots (2022-07 – 2022-12)
I worked closely with customers and colleagues to provide an enjoyable and straightforward shopping experience and to maintain shop standards. I often worked the tills and developed my confidence in handling customers as well as my communication skills. I also played a part in restocking shelves, unloading deliveries and packing products away in the warehouse.
I learned how to work effectively within a team, and further developed my time management and organization when handling multiple tasks and customers at a time.
Kick the Dust team member volunteer at Stories of Lynn (2021-10 – 2022-08)
