Triage of services users that call our service that may present in a mental health crisis from children age onwards to elderly. Emotional support, formulation of safety plans, signposting to services and charities. Contact and liaise with emergency services, social services and other sources of support.
Referrals to crisis teams. Occasionally take professional calls, meaning advising police, ambulance and GPs or any other professionals on a formulation of a plan for the best outcome of a person presenting in crisis. Part of the High Intensive Users and formulating of caller plans.
