• Meticulously review customers own and Industry Standard Specifications, BOM's, MPS's, ITP's and technical drawings, whilst providing technical support / assistance to clients & other departments of the business.

API Certification Engineer + Quality Inspector - Mellish Engineering - Aldridge

Learnt and applied a lot more of a Metallurgy + Quality aspect to my day to day working, this side I really do enjoy learning more about. Working to BSI + ISO 9001 standards, API BSL Levels 1,2 and 3 in both 20E + 20F. Often doing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), NCR's, generating and reviewing quality data to report my findings.

• Using systems: Coalescence + EMAX
• Compiling certs for well-known top industry customers such as One Subsea, Cameron, FMC + Balmoral.
• Knowing and reviewing documents that contain correct information such as: Reduction Ration Chemicals, Casting Method, Melting Practice (Ingot or Con-Cast), Mechanical Testing, Metallurgy Readings, Hardness Testing, Heat Treatment, NDT/UT Testing, UKAS or non-UKAS accredited, Dimensional + Visual Testing and Whitford Approved Coating suppliers must be used and applied as opposed to what level we are certifying to and to cross reference this to customers MPS.
• I have also taken on a lot more of the Quality side in this role - using industry standard tools (such as Verniers, Keyence Machines Ring/Snap/Calliper/Plug/Micrometer Gauges, Thread Mic's, checking tolerances with go's and nogo's, calibration control and more).
• Hardness testing + PMI testing.
• Visually and dimensionally inspecting parts and creating reports.
• Also learnt to Etch using machines following jobcard/customers specs' as to what to etch, sometimes up to thousands of parts to a job.
• Internal Audits: collecting data, analysing and referencing it to what was asked of us and giving my fair and impartial judgment on the information given to me and then speaking to the operators to find out as a company how we can make their process run more efficiently.

Creating BS EN 10204 3.1 & LRQA Witnessed 3.2 certificates for things such as Stud Bolts, Socket Cap Screws, Hexagon Bolts, Heavy Hex Nuts, Eyebolts, Spindles and Threaded Bars. Industries: Petrochem, OEM, Energy, Oil and Gas, Automotive, Defence, Nuclear and also Onshore, Offshore and Subsea. Incorporated my knowledge of Coating Finishes from my previous role.

• Systems: Nitro + NAV
• Full traceability after reviewing information from supplier and raw material mill certs from all around the world,
• Reviewing heat treatment, lab testing, inspection, dimensional and visual then finally plating reports.
• Built a good understanding of fasteners and components and also the heat treatment processes, mechanical and chemical testing as well as NDT test methods.
• Knowledge including ASTM grades, ASME, PED, NACE, ISO, British Standards and DIN and also sanitising mills.

Data Clerk + Route Card Processor - SMC (Specialist Metallic Coatings) - Wolverhampton

Creating custom innovative combinations of job routings for coatings to maximise system benefits for all of our customers in order to book the work in for the factory to complete. Ensuring absolute accuracy not only with weights and prices but also as these will be tested rigorously before leaving our facilities as well as out in the field.

• Being the first and last port of call for booking in and out work in a full NAMAS approved facility using the CRM systems METFIN.
• Analysing the metal finish coating needs for work of all industries including Construction, Railway, Mining, Automotive, Marine etc.
• Gained enormous knowledge of Coating Finishes including: Zinc, Zinc. Nickel, Zinc Flake, Cadmium, Phosphate, HDG, Nickel, Sheradizing, PTFE (Xylan), Sheraplex, Silver/ Copper Plating, Pickle & Passivating, Anodising, Chemi Black.Selecting the correct working temperatures for the furnaces, making sure they give a uniform distribution of heat for coatings and will pass our customers BSI/ISO checks and regulations.

• Creating job cards & corresponding ID labels that follow work around the factory before coming back to me to book work back out, generate ISO accredited certificates of conformity for traceability.

Nurse Recruitment Consultant - Secure Healthcare Solutions - Wolverhampton

Here I was responsible for the growth and development of my own target areas of the UK, advertising and sourcing appropriate candidates to the company using a range of job sites, social media and the telephone constantly. Making job vacancies online, head-hunting, pre-screening and going through the relevant back ground checks on successful candidates (e.g DBS's, Reference chasing, Right To Work checks, Biometric cards and Permits/Student/visa checks) on those wanting to fulfil their nursing careers (most importantly trying to help staff the NHS post covid-19). I then interview, negotiate rates of pay and put candidates on the right training needed ready to go out and work for our service users and out into the community working for the NHS.

Supervisor + Bookings Relations - UDAYS Restaurant - Wolverhampton

Duties include delegating and running shift, whilst reporting to management. My role here has bought a lot more order and structure to the very busy independently owned bar and restaurant near Birmingham city centre. We now have driven sales higher than before, even after the financial impact of the first UK Lockdown whilst reducing staff turn over and also helping strategies marketing ideas helping grow and make the business more profitable.

I worked very closely with auditors during the BSI audit process and organised sales and profit reports, my role of single-handedly going over the last 4 years worth of ledgers and reconciliations played a massive part in the business gaining their first ever audit with a 100% score card with zero minors. Since I started helping in our marketing approach we landed the 4 biggest customers in housing and building developments, Gaining us very large and regular batch orders each week: 1) The Brewers Yard Scheme 2) Saints Quarter (Steelhouse Lane,Bilston) 3) Bilston Urban Village 4) The upcoming - Heath Town Regeneration. Working at this family run Cement and Grab Hire business my duties were as followed;
