Used interviews and workshops to capture, and Visio and Lucidchart to map, ‘as-is’ processes for functional and cross-organisational flows at Optimizely including: Lead to Order, Order to Cash (including Subscription management and Renewals), Source to Pay, Global payroll, Software Development Lifecycle and some General Ledger, revenue recognition, tax, Product lifecycle, pricing and HR processes. Used process analysis to better understand roles, handovers, controls, gaps and possible improvements in process efficiency, system utilisation, data flows, cost-benefits etc. Reported findings and recommendations back to Executive Sponsors, IT and Data services and informed potential projects by identifying stakeholders, collating Problem Statements & / or Project briefs, and presenting ‘to be’ process proposals.
Mapped a variety of IT service desk management processes in the UK and Germany for Bauer media to identify opportunities for consolidation and efficiency improvements.
A variety of assignments as a Consultant at PwC included facilitation of the development / process re-engineering of a business-wide Project Lifecycle for Virgin Money.
Designed, trialled, assessed and revised Implementation processes, including impact analysis & roadmap development, for the operational departments of Virgin Media’s prospective new Interactive division.
Improved all Sales, Purchasing, stock and financial control processes related to re-imaging of 300+ Fina Belgium petrol stations, managed relationships with client, installation contractors and material manufacturers (50% in French)
Improved Operations processes (stock management, customer service and sales administration) for the Consumables team (£5m turnover); established ISO9000 compliant Purchasing and Inventory control processes; audited existing distribution centre processes to retain certification at Computacenter
