Sales Executive at Audi Approved Colchester
My sales executive role would involve taking sales enquiries in all different forms (emails, web based, telephone and walk ins). I would be the point of contact for the customer in helping assist as to what vehicle they were interested in and offering a test drive. If they decided to place an order, I would then oversee organizing the preparation of the vehicle and keeping the customer updated with how this process is going and timings.
With this role communication was the most important part as it made sure the preparation was efficiently completed in the time given and that the customer had been updated with the vehicle progress. I would have to organize my diary with the vehicle handovers, test drive appointments, new enquiries and follow-up calls for existing customers. I found the customer element of this job enjoyable, and it helped me achieve good sales figures.

I was the first point of call when we have clients walk in with no appointment and help showcase and identify which sort of vehicle would best suit their needs and requirements. I really enjoyed this element of the job as I got to build a profile of the customer and a relationship.
If the sales executives were busy, I would also assist in setting up and completing test drives on the desired vehicle. Once the vehicle required has been identified and the customer is happy to proceed with an order, I would then pass it on to a sales executive. I was required to know the controls and technology of every vehicle variant and help aid both sales and service customers to help them utilize their vehicle fully.
Customer Experience Advisor (Sales) at INEOS, Essex and Kent (Jardine Motor Group)

The manufacturer worked on an agency structure, so it was my role to sell the vehicle and help the customer place the order with INEOS.
I would have to present the vehicle to any sales prospects and assist in test drives. I managed a total of 200 orders at one stage until eventually the team expanded. I would organise and complete the vehicle handover for the customer once the vehicle was onsite and aided as a service advisor point of contact whilst the team was yet to grow.
Once most of the existing orders had been delivered and the service team grew, I then proceeded to become the warranty administrator and process the repairs carried out under manufacturer's warranty in order to claim back the expenses. I thoroughly enjoyed the sales aspect of the role and presenting the vehicle with pride to my clients and answering any technical or product-based questions. I would always be competing with my previous conversion rates of sales and aiming to exceed them every month.
