Working on private school refurbishment project I was tasked with various duties on site ranging from stripping out existing walls and furniture, to installing and repairing new and existing dry wall, skirting and doors. Towards the end of the project I was responsible for the installation and hanging of new media tvs and various electrical components in classrooms. I was also responsible for a team of labourers making sure everyone knew what their tasks were to achieve daily targets.

Working primarily in domestic properties I worked on renovation projects and extensions (lofts and kitchens). As a team we were tasked with completing all aspects of the builds, from demolition to 1st and second fix while following all architectural plans, health and safety, and building regulations guidelines. I gained valuable experience in all aspects of woodworking, power tool usage and understanding of the build process.
