My role as a manager has helped me focus on my leadership qualities. As I am responsible for running a team, I am extremely comfortable working towards targets and driving sales where necessary. I also can make customer led decisions and provide the most efficient service for consumers. This role has allowed me to get more experience in areas such as cash handling, paperwork, merchandising, recruitment and training, expanding my abilities and setting me up for future endeavours.

My time doing Camp America taught me a sense of responsibility. As I travelled to New York by myself I was able to open myself up to building new relationships and create memories that will last a lifetime. My role included taking care of the kids, from when they wake up until when they went to sleep.
As you are considered their responsible adult for the summer, I ensured their safety, wellbeing, and took them in as my own. This role taught me a sense of self confidence, patience, and resilience I couldn't have achieved elsewhere.
