Teniola Ogunsanya

I’m a vibrant 26-year-old with a passion for nursing, beauty, and fitness. Currently pursuing my PgDip in Adult Nursing while indulging in my love for makeup as an MUA and staying active through gym sessions and physical activities.

I have a diverse background in healthcare, starting as a Health Care Assistant where I developed essential skills in patient care and learned the basics of clinical support. I later transitioned into a role as a Specialist Support Worker, focusing on Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, which deepened my understanding of complex care needs and strengthened my ability to advocate for vulnerable individuals. My experiences also include working in varied roles such as a Community Midwife and Nursery Teaching Assistant, allowing me to adapt to different healthcare settings and age groups.

Currently, I am a full-time PgDip Adult Nursing student, drawing on my extensive background to inform my practice and apply a holistic, person-centered approach to patient care. My professional journey has equipped me with practical skills, resilience, and a compassionate mindset, all of which are crucial in my nursing training and future career as a registered nurse.

I am currently a full-time student studying for a PgDip in Adult Nursing, set to complete in 2024. My educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Public Health, which has provided me with a solid understanding of healthcare systems and preventative care. Additionally, I have completed a Foundation in Medical Science, offering a robust base in medical knowledge.

These qualifications support my role as a student nurse, enhancing my ability to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care in adult nursing.
