Hello, I'm Theo!

I'm currently based in Norfolk, having graduated with a First Class Honours degree in User Experience Design from the University of the Arts London (UAL). For the past three years, I've worked as a UX Designer at Aimsun, a Barcelona-based tech company, where I've conducted internal user research and designed high-fidelity UI mockups and prototypes for client projects and the company’s SaaS user portal. I was also responsible for curating on-brand social media content and managing the company website.

I firmly believe that profound empathy for users — understanding their needs, behaviours, and emotions — is the cornerstone of meaningful and effective design. With experience across multiple projects and a strong commitment to user-centred approaches, I can take designs from the initial research and problem definition phases, through iterations and user testing, to the delivery of polished final solutions.

I have experience in fast-paced environments, collaborating with diverse teams of all sizes. I thrive both as a team player and as an independent contributor, consistently adapting to new challenges and creative briefs.

Over the past three years as a UX Designer at Aimsun, a global organisation headquartered in Barcelona, I have managed our Elementor-based WordPress site, created both static and motion-based brand-aligned visual assets, and co-led digital projects from discovery through to UI delivery. Most recently, I designed a high-fidelity, responsive, and accessible UI for our SaaS user portal to support the company’s move to subscription-based licensing. Throughout each design process, I apply WCAG guidelines, use a design system for consistency, and build iteratively using feedback to ensure both functional and aesthetic accessibility.

In addition, I have extensive experience in image manipulation, digital asset creation, and visual communication using Adobe Creative Cloud software – including Photoshop and Illustrator – to produce high-quality, brand-aligned visuals across print and digital platforms. I am also highly proficient in Figma, working efficiently to create structured, scalable design systems and interactive prototypes that enhance collaboration and streamline delivery.

With a First-Class Honours degree in User Experience Design from the University of the Arts London (UAL) and distinction-level certifications from the Google UX Design course and the Interaction Design Foundation, I bring a solid academic foundation in human-centred design principles, analytical thinking, and communication – skills that are crucial for delivering effective, user-centred, and impactful digital experiences.
