Strong practical knowledge of construction methods, building materials and the wider range of trades involved in construction. Confident reading architectural and engineering drawings, calculating material requirements and estimating realistic timescales for completing work.
Possesses strong numeracy, communication and organisational skills, with extensive experience dealing directly with customers, other trades, subcontractors, architects, engineers and public authorities. Now looking to move from physically demanding site-based work into a warehouse, trade counter or building merchant environment, where his practical knowledge, construction experience and understanding of building materials can be put to valuable use.
