Work Experience Placement - Manchester Airport - Manchester

In june 2011 I completed 2 weeks work experience placement at Manchester Airport.

• Learning about operations of the train station, the fire station and the Thomas Cook Hangar
• Learning about the role of the police and security practices at the airport
• Worked at the Thomas Cook currency exchange dealing with different currency and serving customers
• Worked at the staff duty free shop for a day at Manchester Airport in a shop within the airport

Volunteer - Ashgate Specialist Support Primary School

I volunteer at Ashgate Specialist Support Primary School. I have been doing this since January 2014 and I work in three different classes with group of eight. I am there all day Wednesday and in the afternoon on Friday.

• Go swimming with 16 of the students from two classes on Wednesday
• Do sports with the Manchester United Foundation coaches that come in to do some coaching sessions with the group in the afternoon
• Do rebound therapy with different groups each Friday afternoon
