My name is Tiah Roberts-Cooper, and I am applying for the position of Content Writer.

Firstly, I spent my work experience as an Administrative Assistant at Biz Think Ltd. This was a very beneficial experience for me as it allowed me to gain crucial clerical skills such as: emailing, writing letter, booking appointments, and answering phone calls. I flourished within this role as I have a bubbly personality, excellent communication skills, and exceptional organisational skills. Recently, I finished a temp job at The Travel Corporation where I managed and efficiently improved content at a travel agency.
This included: proofreading, improving the efficiency of excel spreadsheets, copy-editing, and aiding the smooth running of their travel content.
Likewise, I have done temporary work at Chapter Lewisham. Within this job role, I have planned events, created posters for events, and have undertaken day-to-day administrative tasks.
Secondly, I have extensive Copywriting and Proofreading experience. This was first established within my Comparative Literature degree, as I was always required to write at a professional and proficient standard within all my assignments. As well as this, I was encouraged to find in-depth research in multiple form so now I am well-versed in seeking out information. Following on from this, I started doing freelance copywriting. For example, I was a Freelance Digital Marketing Blogger in 2021 at Byter Ltd. Afterwards this progressed to Freelance Copywriting for students.
These Freelancing roles involved: proofreading, editing inaccuracies, creating Digital Marketing blog posts, and ensuring these posts were SEO friendly. All of my efforts for these students have always been positive, as they have consistently improved their writing and gotten high results. Overall, I have generated an acute eye for detail and professional writing skills.
Additionally, I previously worked at Aurora Worldwide as a Brand Ambassador. This job role was street marketing, and required me to approach potential clients to sign up to a charities such as: RSPCA and The British Heart Foundation. Within this job, I gained crucial marketing and sales skills which allowed me to increase my sales each day. Within a couple of weeks, I had already made a 50% growth in my sales skills, and became well-versed in building relationships with people.
As well as this, I was recently a Brand Ambassador for Infinity Marketing. My primary responsibility was door-to-door sales, so I was tasked with visiting potential customers in the their homes and convincing them to subscribe to charities. These included: RNIB and Battersea Cats and Dogs. This job role allowed me to boost my confidence, strengthen my positive mindset, and drive sales more effectively. Also, I have enhanced my customer service skills.
Finally, I have always had a passion for books, writing and the publishing world. My favourite book is The Colour Purple by Alice Walker, but currently I am reading a book called Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan.
Likewise, I have been eager to immerse myself into the world of writing and books as I am in the midst of creating a website and blog. Here, I will be discussing everything to do with books, food, health, and skincare. As well as, discussing the many trends in the publishing world and creating a community of creative writers.
