Tiana Boyce

Good Day A short introduction to myself, My name is Tiana Boyce. a psychology graduate. I am currently looking for the opportunity to venture into the business world and use my knowledge of psychology to support the company and work within a team to expand and grow the company as well as ensuring a positive, organised, safe environment for both clients and staff . As highlighted on my CV, I have previous experience working with vulnerable individuals where I learned numerous skills, that I believe to be transferable as well as beneficial to both myself and the companies mission, including communication, organisation and relationship building and an insight into mental health and a variety of coping mechanisms, grounding techniques and others ways of managing it.

Working as part of a strong team providing essential care to Older individuals with dementia. Carrying out everyday duties and assisting residents, with the emphasis of promoting and maintaining their well-being and independence. The main duties i was responsible were

• Assisting with personal care - washing, dressing, oral hygiene.

• Support eating and drinking- providing plenty of food and fluid, monitoring intakes and encouraging when necessary.

• Domestic duties- laundry, replacing towels and water jugs.

• Assisting with mobility- completed required training to assist with walking, standing.

• Administrative duties- update and record daily in resident's care plans containing their activity, mobility, mood.

• provide emotional support and reassurance when needed, promoting a safe, comfortable environment and positive well-being.

I have completed an undergraduate degree in psychology BSc with Hons, Currently in the processing part of obtaining BPS accreditation.
