Within this role I was required to serve customers with any needs they may have. I carried out a stock take to maintain the efficiency of the shop and to allow it to run smoothly, I was in charge of making sure the building was all clean for the following day and was to a high standard for customers to walk in the following day. I was in charge of locking up the building after the shop closed.

I developed a good relationship with customers improving my customer service skills and allowed them to carry on developing and expanding. I was able to ensure my health and hygiene standards personally and also for the shops health and hygiene standards where met, I enjoyed my work time here as I was fresh out of school, and it taught me the most valuable skills that I need in life to be the best customer service employee.

Retail Assistant - Asda

Sales assistant for over 5 years. I helped individuals out everyday by answering their questions and directing them in the right places. With the user of an asset management device, it allows me to make sure the correct stock is delivered in time for promotions such as Christmas, Halloween, and Easter.

This requires me to have a high level of responsibility and to live up to high expectations set by my stakeholders. Primarily my job as a retail assistant is to ensure stock levels remain well maintained for the customers. Whilst being a retail assistant it has allowed me to develop many traits such as advanced customer service skills, team development skills and being able to work analytically.
