Statistical epidemiologist / medical doctor
Send a job offer directly to this candidate
I am a statistician and epidemiologist in the University of Oxford. I am also a medical doctor. My publication is best located on Google Scholar (TienYu Owen Yang), which will demonstrate a range of statistical tasks in epidemiology, real world / healthcare data, meta-analysis, and high through-put analysis.
I am looking for work for my start-up fund and to extend my network.
For obvious reason, I will work with you on weekends, and odd evenings if deemed necessary. With exceptions (see below), I would offer most types of analyses, and consultation for them, and preferably on STATA or R (STATA preferred due to version stability over time). I generate graphs in R.
Of note, I would generally not offer to conduct analyses with strong influence of data mining or interrogation, genomics, or machine learning, because it would not be the best use of my time. I also do not contribute to your dissertations or alike. Nevertheless, I am happy to give you my opinions/consultations in these tasks.
