My Main duties were to pick orders from paper pick sheets with a hand held scanner. Then dispatch them on the system and print out the packing slip for each order and then hand over to the consignment team. I would also from time to time pick stock for the in house configuration department, who configure items of stock to customer specifications and requirements before they are shipped out.
Other duties included wrapping pallets manually by hand or using the pallet wrapping machine as well as general maintenance duties.

I also was trained to QC (quality check) orders and get them ready to be dispatched to various sites across the UK which couriers would collect them throughout the day. My assignment at Bybox came to an early end in January 2025 due a downturn in work.

I worked as a warehouse operator. Initially my duties were picking and packing orders, supporting the warehouse team by printing the days orders and sorting them for before handing them to the pickers to be picked. Also changing any orders that for instance needed a different shipping labels or were to dispatched via another courier.
I was trained on the main cloud-based system called SAP. I also used UPS WorldShip. DHL & Bybox portals as well as MS outlook and other Microsoft applications. I completed and passed a Scissor Lift or MEWP Training course.
I also completed a training course to become a qualified Fire Marshall and as of January 2024 was an on site Fire Marshall for the Warehouse.
