Medical Laboratory Assistant 

• Preparation of thin prep gynecological samples received from hospital theaters, endoscopy clinics and GP surgeries, using the T2000, T5000 and the staining machine to produce slides which are observed on the microscope, by Cytoscreeners and Biomedical scientists.
• Preparation of thin prep Non-gynecological samples, which include CSF’s, Bronchial washings and brushings, Aspirates, Synovial Fluids. 
• Stocking of reagents and preparation of stains. 

Career 

• Full time career offering person centered care to both disabled and elderly clients. 
• Aiding in the preparation of food and administering medication to clients. 
• Shopping for clients, delivering prescription medication from the local pharmacy as well as helping with personal day-day hygiene requirements.
