Head of maintenance engineer at Park Holidays UK-Essex (2026-01 – Present)

The Head of Maintenance Leader is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations across the caravan site, ensuring caravans, facilities, and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard of safety, functionality, and presentation. The role involves leading a maintenance team, coordinating repairs, implementing preventative maintenance programmes, and supporting overall site operations to deliver a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and residents.

• Lead, supervise, and support the maintenance team in daily operations.
• Carry out and oversee repairs including plumbing, heating, and general building maintenance.
• Ensure all caravans are prepared, serviced, and maintained for guest arrivals.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimise equipment failure and downtime.
• Plan and allocate maintenance tasks across caravans, holiday units, and site facilities.
• Manage maintenance stock, tools, and ordering of materials.
• Support seasonal site opening and closing procedures.

Maintenance Engineer at Park Holidays UK Ltd-Clacton-on-Sea (2024-09 – Present)

Joined the maintenance team at entry level and quickly developed a strong understanding of park/camp standards and operational requirements.

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on caravans to a high and consistent standard, ensuring safety, functionality, and customer satisfaction.
• Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests, prioritising tasks to ensure minimal disruption for guests.
• Maintain and oversee stock levels, ensuring all materials and equipment are available to support efficient job completion at any time.
• Regularly liaise with customers, addressing queries and resolving issues professionally to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Provide cross-departmental support when required, assisting the Grounds Team, Siting Team, Housekeeping Team.

VOLUNTEER at JAYWICK SANDS REVIVAL COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY (2018-01 – Present)

I help the community hub in my spare time. I have been awarded numerous awards, Covid Champion Award by Tendering District Council, Young Persons awarded my Plunketes hosted by the rural community business rewards. We provided food parcels to the community and any necessary needs for the community.

Lead Siting operative at Park Holidays UK-Essex (2022-02 – 2024-09)

Started at entry level of the siting team. My role included maneuvering of caravans, boarding caravans across grass areas to provide support when moving. My job role also included levelling the caravans using trolley jacks and to plumb the units for the waste to leave the unit.

I was then promoted to a lead siter which I managed a team of three members and included clear communications between managers around the site, I needed to assure that all paperwork was actioned correctly. I was signed off regarding this matter due to my age at the time.
