Shift Supervisor - Building Product Solutions LTD

Overseeing a small team of sawmen, reporting to the production manager my duties include: checking and filling out daily paperwork, then setting tasks and managing the workload for my team. A key part of my job is to check the quality of work produced by my team. I attend meetings when required and make sure production schedules are met. I always follow health and safety procedures whilst working.

Window Fabricator - Building Product Solutions LTD

During my time at BPS I have covered various job roles within the factory.

My main tasks and responsibilities included: following printed worksheets and picking PVC profile for orders, operating the saw to cut profile for special orders and cutting cills and vented heads. Another of my responsibilities was to prep external and internal frames and sashes, I always followed the daily work schedule and strived to meet targets set. I also rotated to different areas within the factory to suit the business needs and had no issues operating in any of these roles.

Overseeing a small team, reporting to the factory manager my duties included: inputting data on to PC using in house systems and filling out daily paperwork, a key part of my job was to lead my team to achieve KPI'S and to check the quality of work produced. I attended meeting when required and made sure production schedules were met. I always followed health and safety procedures whilst working.

Factory Operative - Sash UK

Whilst employed at Sash covered various job roles within the factory. My duties included: glazing windows and installing handles and vents, operating machinery and cutting PVC profile, I always followed the daily work schedule and strived to meet targets set.

Yard Staff - J Edwards Waste Management

I worked as part of a small team in the yard, my duties included: working with machinery, following health & safety procedures and driving a counterbalance FLT truck.

Warehouse Operative - ALDI

I worked as part of a team at a busy ALDI distribution centre, my duties included: driving low level order pickers, picking stock and general warehouse duties

Plant operative - URM LTD

(2015-01 - 2016-08)

I started working at URM as an order picker and was then promoted to a plant operative, my duties included: ensuring machines were running efficiently, filling in paperwork, inputting data on to the PC and making sure targets were met. Whilst in employment at URM I also achieved my FLT license.
