I am a passionate newly-qualifying physiotherapist from the MSc programme at the University of Northampton, with a previous BSc in sports and exercise science from the University of Nottingham. I am known for my excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to the team I'm in, with a focus on always putting the patient's needs first. While this will be my first professional physiotherapy role, I have previous placement experience across outpatient MSK, trauma and orthopaedics, urgent care and psychiatric settings. Outside of work, I am a keen rugby player and love to cook.
while my professional experience is relatively low, I make up for it with a glowing report from previous placement educators. As mentioned, I have had experience across an array of different placement settings, with over 1000 hours experience total. Outside of physiotherapy, I have worked in several restaurants and bars to maintain good communication skills with everyday people, whether that's customers or critical patients.
I will be graduating from my physiotherapy MSc in the coming months, but before that I acquired a BSc sports and exercise science degree from the University of Nottingham, and completed GCSEs (9,9,8,8,8,7,7,6,6,A) and A-Levels (A,A,B) at Vandyke Upper School in Leighton Buzzard.
