A member of the board of directors responsible for the execution of a five year business plan to deliver the £6M restoration of a unique, Grade 2 listed Art Deco residential development consisting of 132 flats, pavilion clubhouse, lido, tennis court and 4 acres of grounds in West London. My specific role during the works was to to monitor the day to day management of the estate and to assist in liaising with Collins (the main contractor), Crittall and English Heritage to ensure that the restoration of the development is delivered on time and on budget and that the Leaseholders are kept informed with regular progress updates. Now the restoration is complete, my role has changed to primarily focus on identifying day to day maintenance issues together with liaising with the Block Manager about larger planned preventative maintenance projects such as the replacement of the communal boilers, refurbishment of the swimming pool and maintenance of the private roadways.
