Tom Scarry

I have just finished my third year of college studying Film and TV production. I am keen to start my career as a Grip Trainee or Camera operator Trainee, however I would be willing to take any role available to get my foot in the door.

I can work independently, but also enjoy working as part of a team. But overall, I am looking to join the film industry as a keen worker so I can expand my film knowledge and to become a great filmmaker. 

I started as a Till Operator at a garden centre which helped me improve my social skills and understanding of how a wok environment should be.

I am now a Waiter/Runner for a Restaurant in Beaconsfield which has taught me how to work in fast paced environments.

I did two years at Amersham College where I learnt the basics of filmmaking and gave me a full insight of how the industry works.

I then did one year at the Creative Media Skills Institute which helped me develop a diverse portfolio of skills in Film Production, Assistant Directing and Locations.
