Activus is a small niche software house employing 120 people with a turnover of £10M. Cegedim is a leading worldwide supplier of application software and implementation services to the medical insurance, protection insurance and assistance markets employing 4500 people in 21 countries with an annual turnover of over £400M. The role involved implementing Activus's highly configurable Health Insurance policy administration system, design and configure Guidewire Claims Center system, IDHP (International Digital Health Platform) with a number of clients including AETNA, R&SA and CIGNA.

Customer requirements were captured through workshopping and each project went through an iteration of process fitting exercises, which resulted in the project scope. Agreed enhancements were documented in Enhancement Requirement Documents (ERD's) capturing comprehensive User Stories and associated Acceptance Criteria. Additionally, the role involved completing the internal QA and client UAT project phases.
