Highly skilled mechanical engineering graduate with a basic foundation in programming and a comprehensive knowledge of engineering theories and concepts with its use in real life scenarios. Experienced in interpersonal relations in a work space, as well as, working in a group in order to complete a project. Looking to use this opportunity to build on my current knowledge and skill set, and add new ideas and a fresh mind-set to my place of work.

During my internship in Sterling Bank, I spent 3 months in the Digital Banking group of the Bank. I spent time in different sections of the group, from the Mobile Financial Sector to the Card Group, to the Acceptance Business and Acquiring Business Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on the technical aspects involved in internal and external money transfer.
• Work within a group on the bank's current mobile application and suggested improvement that resulted in migration of customers to the bank's application.
• Engage in developing a new product called SMS Banking. I was in charge of developing the text strings between the system and customers, and I was involved in developing the product paper and business requirement document for the product. This helped the company to generate revenue from customer engagement that was previously untapped.
• Engage in meetings and planning sessions with the group where discussions were held to find solutions to existing problems, objectives were set and tasks were divided among the group in order to efficiently meet the goals of the group.
• Resolve customer complaints concerning the bank's digital products, suggesting ways the customers can better handle the product, or alternate company products the customers can use which improved the user experience and helped increase the overall customer satisfaction.

During my years studying Mechanical Engineering (MEng) at the University of Bath, I was able to:

• Engage in various research and design projects building data analysis skills, research skills and knowledge using softwares like Autodesk Inventor, MATLAB, Simulink, and the applications in Microsoft Office like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Powerpoint.
• Build a foundation in engineering principles, standards, theories, and specifications.
• Gain valuable life skills like professionalism, multitasking, time-management, and use of online resource.
• Learn to work in a lab and use of different lab equipment.
• Hone my communication skills and improved on my ability to work in a group through group projects.
• Learn basic skills in programming using MATLAB and modelling skills in Simulink.
• Work with the Ministry of Defense on a project to design new missile model.
