About
I have been working in customer-facing roles for the last 30 years as a Courier and Black Taxi driver and more recently in the medical and healthcare sector as a installation technician.
During
Covid, I worked as a Fire Marshal for two organisations when the need for black taxis diminished. Along with my fire marshal duties, I was required to support residents by providing basic maintenance and support. I am looking to change my career, but maintain and transfer the skills I have gleaned over this time which include technical, organisational and strong practical skills.
I am a strong communicator with both colleagues and clients and pride myself on my team approach to ensuring a project reaches a successful end. I have fundamental skills in both plumbing and electrical trades and am keen to learn more in these areas as well as having the opportunity to learn new skills. I am a quick learner and find it rewarding to learn and apply new skills and to use these skills in troubleshooting situation.
In my last role with M.C.S I completed the SMSTS Course as I was starting to spend more time on site.
