Hairdresser/Teaching Assistant.
I am a hairdresser who trained with a big hair & beauty chain. I went on to become a salon trainer and then assistant manager. After this I ran my own little business for 9 years.
Then I decided to have a career change and did 3 new qualifications which were; teaching assistant level 2, understanding Autism and understanding mental health in young people. With these qualifications I went on to be a teaching assistant in both special need schools and mainstream schools . My most recent job was doing a 1-1 with a very complex child , which was exhausting but also rewarding.
I have a varied CV offering experience in lots of different fields.
I went to St. Gregory’s RC High School. I took 10 o’levels/ CSE.S i have a Hairdressing qualification.
