Experienced senior manager with 28 years experience in the service industry. Prior experience includes driving operational excellence, commercial management, Budget and P&L management and responsibility for large workforces in multi locations. Prior roles have been customer facing and have secured organic growth and retention under re-tenders, particularly within strongly competitive markets.
Engagement with internal and external stakeholders resulting in implementation of solutions and innovation, and delivery large scale projects. Recognised for transforming service performance, building engaged teams, and delivering strategic improvements in highly regulated, customer‑critical environments.
Strong experience in the waste and recycling industries, with focus on service delivery, employee engagement and financial performance. Responsible for compliance within regulated environments and health and safety across multiple tasks. Operationally and customer focussed and have been acknowledged as Business Unit of the Year by 3 previous employers.
Long term compliance achievements demonstrated by implementation of SIA licensing within security industry through to introduction of, and operating to, Scottish Waste Regulations. Achievement of budgeted EBIT through alignment of costs to revenue, resulting in exceeding budget expectations despite revenue shortfalls.
High school education only. Participation in various in house Leadership programmes within in role.
