Sickness absence management for several contracts such as HMPPS, Scot rail, Network rail, Scottish prison Service, most council providers in Scotland and England, DVLA and Scottish Government also MOD. This is done by telephone consultation, and I work to strict deadlines and KPI. It can be a fast-changing role with duties changing daily.
It is also a challenging role as it involves assessing clients who are facing life changing conditions such as cancer and long term chronic illness and symptoms, or who may be facing disciplinary or work intervention adjustments by management. I also provide safety critical advice and adjustments for roles were there is a significant safety risk in the duties carried out which requires critical thinking.
