I have 35 years' experience across the board within the loss prevention industry, initially within a Security role and then evolving into Loss Prevention. During my career within Tesco, TK Maxx, Morrison's Retail, Logistics and TNT/FedEx. I have gained experience of all aspects of performance management, delivery execution, KPI management, and individual and team development.

The determination and drive to deliver LP Strategy and manage a region of agreed targets by achieving results using risk indicators and utilizing tools and resources at hand to improve the shrink. An expert in conducting crime and loss investigations with the ability to identify poor weaknesses in process and performance and implement best practice to improve shrink, loss, costs across the business. I can easily recognize areas of control of weakness around process, internal crime, with the ability to educate and bring loss awareness to the agenda of manager's minds.

Security Manager at TNT/FedEx (2017-01 – Present)

I am responsible for covering sites across the Southeast HIGH-RISK SITES. (LONDON SITES). Avsec trained.

• Good distribution & practice awareness of the business.
• Identifying poor performance by root causing, identifying the exposure and drive improvement to reduce the loss and impact to the businesses.
• To educate, influence the mindsets by training, guidance & support across all areas of the business to understand good practices and sustain.
• Build effective partnerships with Account Managers, third party Accounts, Businesses to improve performance measures and accountabilities.
• Accountable for performance driven processes 'monthly audits, action plans.
• Dealing with all enquires related to theft, fraud, performance behaviors. (Organized Crime)
• Ongoing interaction with the Police, presenting case files or supporting police intelligence.
• Utilizing FedEx systems to analysis data on poor performance, plan priorities, implement activity & measure to improve costs.

Loss Prevention Manager at WM Morrisons (2009-01 – 2017-12)

I am responsible for supporting 80 Stores covering our Southeast Region. My Team consists of 5 Loss Prevention Coaches and 8 Loss Prevention Assistants. I am accountable for performance managing, development needs. I have coaching expertise with the ability to determine individual learning pace and preferred method of training support. My expectations are to deliver the plan by driving the objectives in managing shrink and sustaining improvements in our stores.

• Deliver Shrink improvement of £7m across Retail and Manufacturing and Logistics by the end of year.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for our customers and colleagues by ensuring all physical security measures are in place and maximized.
• Lead and support change to drive colleague's satisfaction and delivery of objectives through efficient and engaging ways of working.

KPI Targets had initially been set for the year from the performance achievements from the previous predecessor which I succeeded in the first half year.

Store Detective/Security Manager at Tesco Stores (1989-01 – 2006-12)

1989 – Store Detective – Detection of external activity covering a region. Security Manager - Tesco Baldock, Tesco Bedford Extra, Field base Loss Prevention & Compliance Officer. The function of the role was to detect and prevent loss to the company, its staff, and its customers, motivate and train security staff. I was responsible for 40 stores in an area covering Herts/Beds/Bucks and North London.

• Complete security health checks and draft action plans
• Gain feedback from the stores to ensure activities are supporting current trends.
• Monitor store incident reporting vs. actual activity.
• Deal with all customer complaints
• Provide targeted shop floor detection.
