About

I have many interests such as biking and motor sports, I enjoy baking and cooking for my family and working with other people while getting to know them. I also like to gain new experiences and skills wherever I can. I make sure to keep fit, so in my free time I exercise in the gym.

Spending time with my family, going on bike rides and long walks with the family dog are important to me. I am currently enrolled at Stamford collage, studying a L2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures).

Work experience - Family upholstery business - Leicester

During my time there I stripped and prepared dental chairs and soft furnishings, I handled and organised tools while maintaining a clean working environment. Teamwork and manual handling were a big part of the role, using the correct lifting techniques, both manual and mechanical for moving large furniture.

As part of a team to provide excellent service to the customers that wish to buy or hire bikes. I often have to multitask, and problem solve using my own initiative to meet the customer's needs, while always having a positive, hard-working and customer focussed mindset. I also ensure the working environment is safe, tidy and clean by washing and maintaining the bikes after every use to ensure that the customers get a joyful and problem free experience.

Through my time working at Specialized I have enjoyed my interactions with the public; this has developed my customer service while selling bike accessories.

This has required me to learn how to use specialised equipment, handle chemicals while working in an environment where safety, health and environment (SHE) is vital. All of this requires me to be cautious and follow precise safety procedures, such as wearing the appropriate PPE and handling potentially dangerous chemicals.
