With almost ten years' experience in the Market Trading Business, it has given me the opportunity to demonstrate my driving ability and customer service. Good communication skills have been a must in this line of work as I have had to interact with customers throughout each day in a polite and professional manner. I have also had time to develop my skills as a driver, completing up to 20 drops a day in a transit van.

Delivery Driver at ASDA-Gateshead (2021-05 – 2025-12)

My duties include, completing a pre delivery vehicle check to make sure the vehicle is safe to drive on the road. I am also responsible for loading my own vehicle in a timely manner whilst adhering to manual handling practices. Delivering to residential and commercial customers whilst sticking to time slots.

Treating all customers with respect as I'm usually the customers main point of contact with the company and having s friendly can do attitude, usually going above and beyond to help the customers with any additional assistance they require.

Delivery Driver/Market Trader at Colin's Electrical's (2012-09 – 2020-12)

My main duties were to load and unload the van at the beginning and end of each day, interacting with the customers in order to make sales, take orders for delivery and also cash handling. Then I would deliver the goods to people's homes at the end of the day. The amount of deliveries would depend on the amount of business from that day.
