I am a full-time student at Mount St Mary's Catholic High School who has just completed her GCSEs. I am also a Sunday school teacher at Source Abondante Church in Leeds. As an open individual, I am always ready for any role/occupation which may be offered to me since I am responsible and diligent in all that I do. In the future, I have a deep passion towards making an impact in society.

Teaching Assistant - Holy Rosary and St Anne's Catholic Primary School

Work experience placement. I performed the role of a teaching assistant and I mainly worked with year 4 along with the special needs children in the SEND room. During my time in year 4, I assisted the children with their school work and even took a small group out to help them with their PSHCE work.

I gained the skill of managing their behaviour and working around the obstacles which the children may have faced in their understanding of the tasks given to them. Whilst being in the SEND room, I gained the skill of adaptation as it was my first time working with special needs children who can bring a few challenges at times. I learnt different ways to communicate through vocals, gestures and tones.

I also gained knowledge on younger people with autism and the challenges which they also face. Overall, I have left this experience as a more organised person who has the capacity to persevere and adapt to any challenges that may come my way.
