Umair Patel

I am currently in my 2nd year of college at The MFG and I currently study A level Maths, BTEC IT Level 3 and CTEC OCR Business single award. I do these subjects because I find them really interesting and really accessible to learn. I also do these subjects because I want my future career to be within the levels of these subjects.

I am honest, reliable and able to manage my time when meeting my deadlines like completing my homework punctually. I am a kind, helpful and well-mannered person and also practical, hardworking and responsible too, who can work well in a group.

Stock Management at Nowell Forecourts (2025-07)

I took part in ordering stock for the shop. This included checking which drinks, confectionery, and other fast-selling items were low or out of stock. I was shown how to use the system the business uses to record and place orders. I had to look at the shelf levels, compare them to stock in the back, and help make a note of what needed replenishing.

Volunteer - Football Tournament Organiser at Annual Charity Event (2023-02 – Present)

Outside of my studies, I regularly volunteer at an annual charity event, where I help organise the football tournaments by keeping track of fixtures and scores. Taking part each year has taught me the importance of reliability and attention to detail, as well as how to stay calm and focused in a busy environment.
