Experience

HR Administrator and Customer Relations Volunteer - Children With Voices

(2026-06)

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar and email, and send her a concise weekly update, a responsibility I took on after noticing her workload was becoming difficult to manage. Act as a trusted point of contact for senior leadership.
  • First point of contact for candidates, new starters and volunteers, by email and on Microsoft Teams, giving clear and friendly updates so nobody is left waiting without information.
  • Keep a busy recruitment programme running smoothly across roles including Finance, HR, Trustee Board Secretary, Accountant, Social Media and Marketing, and Governance and Compliance Intern. Write job adverts, post vacancies on Indeed, LinkedIn and CharityJob, schedule interviews and coordinate calendars. Have interviewed approximately 15 to 20 candidates and helped recruit approximately 5 people.
  • Welcome new starters from offer to start date, sending policies and confidentiality forms, collecting documentation, confirming start dates and introducing them to their teams.
  • Handle identification documents and personal information for DBS and identity checks confidentially, sharing it only with authorised people.
  • Maintain volunteer attendance and records in spreadsheets, check information for accuracy, and take notes and action points at internal meetings.
  • Support administration of equal opportunities, anti-discrimination and safeguarding policies, and escalate complex questions to senior colleagues.

Legal Assistant - Kent Law Clinic

(2024 - 2025)

  • Communicated directly with clients, giving clear and reassuring updates and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Supported case administration by preparing correspondence, organising records and maintaining accurate files, and worked with a team to consider the right approach for each client.

Administrative Assistant - Obaseki Solicitors

(2021-11 - 2024-09)

  • Provided day-to-day, client-facing administrative support including diary management, scheduling, document preparation and client communication.
  • Coordinated between departments to keep workflow and communication accurate and timely.
  • Prepared, organised and archived documents and case files in line with professional and compliance standards.

Commis Waitress - Gauthier, Soho (Michelin-Starred Restaurant) - Soho

(2018-12 - 2021-11)

  • Welcomed and looked after guests, including high-profile individuals, at a Michelin-starred restaurant, delivering polished service with discretion and composure under pressure, and handled confidential information including under an NDA.
  • Built strong communication, teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced, people-focused setting where first impressions mattered.

Usher - Christ Healing Home Ministries (Local Church)

(2025-01)

  • First point of contact for attendees at events, welcoming people as they arrive, and organise a rota for fire-safety headcounts, arriving early, checking attendance and following up with volunteers.
