Throughout my working career I have gathered vast knowledge and experience in finance, sales and customer services. I consider myself to be a fast learner, easy going and a motivated person who is not shy of hard work or learning new skills. I thoroughly enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds and I am respectful of individuals beliefs and cultures, I present myself as someone who is open to all opportunities and I work very well as part of a team or on an individual basis.

I currently work as a sales assistant for Toolstation, my duties include sales, customer service, cash handling, problem solving, working in a busy fast paced environment and ensuring customer orders are collated and correctly managed
Assistant Manager - Dulux - Quest Park, Doncaster

My role was Assistant manager at Dulux Decorating Centre in Doncaster. My duties included being a key holder, cashing up, serving customers, handling credit and cash accounts, balancing the tills, setting a monthly rota, opening and closing the store. I arranged transfer of stock between stores to fulfil existing orders and also deliveries to account and non account customers and this involved route planning, lifting and loading.
It was a very demanding job and sometimes included travelling to other regional stores when they request cover
Finance Specialist - CarShop - Decoy Bank South, Doncaster

When I Started at the CarShop I was originally on the sales team and would advise customers of available stock to suit their needs and also arrange test drives etc for them at their nearest store. I was on the Sales team for 2 years and really enjoyed interacting with customers and the individual stores, I was then chosen for promotion to spearhead a new team for Finance applications that customers would make online. I have to process the application and speak to the customer and then submit the details to the finance customers, I then advise them of their application outcome and book them for a test drive etc.
I regularly liaise with the finance companies and the stores to give the customer the best possible car buying experience, I have been in this role for 9 years. My role within the Finance team at the CarShop requires me to be FCA approved, which means passing an annual SAF test, regular onsite training and also E-learnings. I'm a valued member of the the team within the CarShop contact centre and class my colleagues, managers and the Director of Business (Contact Centre) as very close friends and enjoy being part of the "Family"
Retentions Advisor - Parseq - Lowton Way, Hellaby, Bramley, Rotherham

I was part of the retentions team for The Times and The Sunday Times newspapers. My roll was to retain existing customer subscriptions by listening to the reasons why they wanted to cancel and then discuss what options I could offer. I would then tailor a subscription to best suite their individual needs. This role required a good level of listening, questioning and negotiation skills.
Customer Service Advisor - Curry's - Unit 1, Danum Retail Park, York Road, Doncaster

A typical day at Curry's for me would be to deal with customers face to face on the shop floor. This role would see me answering customer enquiries, advising them on the different products available and dealing with any technical enquiries they may have. I also dealt with any goods that were returned or returned as faulty.
Once I had helped a customer decide on a purchase I would then use the tills and computer systems to take the payment and complete the sale. At the end of the day I was also expected to make sure the till balanced and complete the appropriate paperwork.
Sales Assistant - Earnshaws - Unit 6, The Colonades, Duke Street, Doncaster

I worked at Earnshaws for 7 years and throughly enjoyed working face to face with customers on a daily basis. My daily duties included cash handling, sales, book keeping, high level of customer service, problem solving, stock management and also up selling. I was also a key holder and a senior member of staff. I still have a good relationship with the management of Earnshaws to this day.

I worked for BT for 4 years as a customer/sales advisor and gained a BT contract for my sales and target achievement skills. Whilst working at BT I learnt how to hit and exceed targets within a team and also individual ones. I handled inbound calls on which I promoted new products and upgrades for new and existing customers specially tailored to the customers individual needs. I also answered any queries/problems the customer my have.
