For the last 15 years I have been a stay at home parent looking after my children. Now as my youngest starts full time education I want to also start working again.
Before having the children I worked at Webb group as a customer service advisor. I was taking customer orders over the phone, processing manual orders onto the computers, dealing with customer queries in regards to their orders especially near to Christmas time. I was processing returns and issuing refunds. I will chase up personalised orders to see how long they were going to be.
Before working at Webb group I worked at Healthcare at Home as an admin assistant. Here I would scanning manual invoices for medication onto the computer system and meticulously check all the details were correct at time of processing to make sure medical orders went out correctly and on time.
I have also worked at Mercia training Centre. Here I was taking calls from customers applying for the winter fuel allowance. I would add customers to the database by checking that they qualified for the winter fuel allowance and had turned 65 but the week that the government had set I also verified their personal details to complete the application.
During my time as a stay-at-home parent I run a small business from home. I was buying in Asian clothes and selling them at a marked-up price on Facebook and eBay. I also sold them locally to friends and family. I really enjoyed this fantastic work but had to stop when I had my two youngest children.
During the last 12 months me and my husband have started an extension on our new property. For this I’ve submitted planning permission forms which have now been approved by the local council. We started work on the property about six months ago I have been actively sourcing materials and building supplies foot of bricks blocks insulation P al board would and many more things to keep the price as low as possible I have drawn up spreadsheets to keep account of the spending and prices.
I am enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills on top of any skills or already have I am fully trained in Microsoft applications.
